why its 1.8 liter ? Original one is just a 1.6
A stroker crankshaft is fitted with special connecting rods and pistons, resulting in a displacement of just under 1.8 litres. 🏁

Hi! at 6:36 you install the waterbox. I notice it has a green sensor (water temp) but also a brown sensor below. What is it? Also there is a blue sensor in the head what is this other sensor? Thank you!
All three are coolant temp sensors. Green - ECU Blue - coolant gauge in the dash Brown - extra sensor for vehicles with AC flic.kr/p/7fyijP

@@iainmacrae6982 some oem parts are not longer available, but regarding bearings there are aftermarket alternatives… For this specific project we used machined race bearings 🏁

It was available directly from Citroen Racing when the C2 R2 came out 🏁
why not use xu7 engine? it's already 1.8 16v .
The XU engine weighs considerably more and is very difficult to get into a Saxo/106.

you could clean these at 5:20 but how will you clean these at 3:15 ?

No, unfortunately no matching bearings are supplied. The recommendation is to remove the lugs of the standard bearings, but that is not our way. ✌🏻 80mm is definitely still safely possible with this cylinder block. 😎
